Madison Greene, 3, spends time with Minnie Mouse and receives gifts from Angie Green of SMG during Mickey and Minnie’s Summer Fun Camp before the duo’s opening night performance Thursday of Disney on Ice at the Arena. Guests from the Dreams Come True nonprofit were invited to visit with Disney’s most recognizable couple and participate in an outdoor campground adventure and picnic. Local high school students volunteered as camp counselors. Dreams Come True is the only Jacksonville-based nonprofit that fulfills the dreams of area children battling life-threatening illnesses.
