Federal judges honored

The Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association held its annual dinner last week at the University Club in the Riverplace Tower. In addition to having an opportunity to socialize with colleagues, the occasion honored the judiciary of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division. Those judges who have reached milestone anniversaries on the bench in the last couple of years are Harvey Schlesinger, 25 years of service as of 2000; Ralph Nimmons, Jr., 10 years of service as of 2001; Howell Melton, 25 years of service as of 2002; John H. Moore II, 20 years of service as of 2001; and Howard Snyder, 20 years of service as of 2001.
