Groundwork Jacksonville, the National Park Service and the City of Jacksonville were among the partners for the Hogans Creek Biodiversity Festival. The event, held this month at Henry J. Klutho Park in Springfield, included a chance to interact with snakes and other creatures. There also was a cleanup for the creek and the park, and a chance to meet Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl.
