Jim Love from State Farm Insurance welcomed Executive Assistant Scott Wilson and his boss, Don Redman, Downtown’s new representative for City Council Dist. 4, to the Downtown Council of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce breakfast Friday. “First of all. I need to make sure there are no other Council members here. I don’t want to start my term by getting in trouble with the Sunshine Law,” joked Redman. He added that he’d like to work with the Downtown Council to return the urban core to its former glory as a destination for shopping and entertainment. “As a new City Council member, I need your help to learn what I need to do to make Downtown better,” said Redman.
