First Watch announced Sept. 10 it opened in OakLeaf Crossing in Southwest Jacksonville, its seventh Northeast Florida restaurant.

The restaurant at 9680 Argyle Forest Blvd. is across from Oakleaf Town Center.

First Watch serves breakfast, brunch and lunch. Menu items include avocado toast, smoked salmon eggs benedict, farm stand breakfast tacos and lemon ricotta pancakes, along with salads and sandwiches for lunch.

The OakLeaf location also offers alcoholic beverages, including cocktails.

The restaurant is open 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for dine-in, take out or delivery, the company said in a news release. It’s operating at 50% capacity and COVID-19 safety precautions are in place.

Customers may use the First Watch smartphone app to get in line before arriving to the restaurant or to place a takeout order.

It employs about 25 people, the news release said.

Venture Construction Co. completed the $574,067 build-out of the 3,656-square-foot restaurant. It has 114 seats inside and 32 on the patio, according to building plans.

First Watch also is building a restaurant in the Nocatee Town Center at 295 Pine Lake Drive.

A spokesperson for the restaurant told the Daily Record in December the Nocatee location would open about a month after the OakLeaf Crossing restaurant.
