Franklin Street leasing space at River City Station

The Franklin Street commercial real estate company is the leasing agent for the 26,000-square-foot River City Station retail center planned for development along Max Leggett Parkway and Hyatt Road.

The site is near the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs clinic under development in North Jacksonville.

Franklin Street represented the buyer and seller in the land deal.

Max Leggett Acquisition Group LLC paid $2.5 million on Oct. 24 to buy 3.49 acres from seller Second Time Signature LLC, led by Stephen Leggett, managing partner.

The buyer is led by real estate developer Kevin Martin.

Shaun Mayberry, Franklin Street senior director of land investment sales, said the project will be medical, retail and restaurant space.

He said it is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024.

Mayberry and Franklin Street Director Ricky Ostrofsky are the leasing agents.

Mayberry said three leases are being negotiated.

Plans show a 16,450-square-foot single-tenant building and a 12,600-square-foot multi-tenant building.
