After Hank Coxe obtained a favorable verdict in the Valdes case in Starke, he decided to take up bobsledding because he saw it one night while he was preparing his final argument. He and fellow Bedell lawyer Charles Pillan headed to Utah to offer their services to
the U.S. team.
