Hillary Clinton says she’s an HGTV junkie.
“I love watching people redecorating their houses, buying houses,” the Democratic presidential candidate said while sitting in a rocking chair for South Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Jaime Harrison’s online series, “Chair Chats.”
Clinton, 67, went on to name several of the network’s popular shows: “There’s a program called ‘Love It or List It.’ I like to watch ‘Beachfront Bargain.’”
Likely referring to “Flip or Flop,” the former secretary of state said with increasing enthusiasm, “I’m interested in this young couple that flip houses, whether they’re going to make their money or not.”
She added, “I find it relaxing, entertaining and informative, watching HGTV.”
But HGTV programming isn’t the only thing on television that helps Clinton unwind.
The White House hopeful and former first lady expressed love for a pair of political dramas.
“‘Madam Secretary’ I really like,” Clinton said of the CBS series starring Téa Leoni as a fictional secretary of state. “‘The Good Wife,’ I watch,” Clinton continued, “‘Downton Abbey,’ I watch.
“But I’ll tell you, what I relax by is house and garden TV.”
