Hanania Automotive Group announced the acquisition of Jack Wilson Chevrolet and Jack Wilson Buick GMC in St. Augustine in a deal to be completed this month.
The purchase boosts the Jacksonville-based Hanania group’s dealerships to 20 in addition to three collision centers.
The dealerships operate at 2255 U.S. 1 S. in St. Augustine.
Hanania’s brands already include Audi, Acura, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ford, Genesis, Hyundai, Inifiniti, Maserati, Mitsubishi, Subaru and Volkswagen.
In addition to Northeast Florida, Hanania operates in Miami, Bonita Springs, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Birmingham, Alabama, and plans to open in Atlanta late this year.
Founder and CEO Jack Hanania, who is a Jacksonville native, started in the industry in 1983. He said that adding Chevrolet, Buick and GMC “is a natural.”
