Jacksonville Public Library board names new officers and members

The Jacksonville Public Library Board of Library Trustees has selected new officers and members.

The officers are:

• Erin Skinner, chair, has been on the board since 2009. She has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Florida and a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. She previously worked as vice president of sales and marketing for Paramount Performance Marketing; general manager for Principle Woods Inc.; and vice president of Computer Management Sciences.

• Guy Anderson, vice chair, is a senior consultant at Kirkpatrick & Associates, Inc., specializing in information technology and services, and utility industry analytics. He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.

• Jackie Perry, secretary, is executive director for Beaver Street Enterprise Center, which was named the 2010 Dinah Adkins Incubator of the Year by the National Business Incubation Association. She obtained her Incubation Management Certification from the National Business Incubation Association and also has completed accelerated certificate programs in human resources management and operations management at the University of Georgia.

New members

• Timothy Anderson, managing director and chief economist at Bott-Anderson Partners, Inc., an investment consulting firm. He received his law degree from the University of Florida and his bachelor’s degree at Boston College.

• Charles Kleeman, a senior financial analyst with Johnson & Johnson Vision Care. He has a master’s degree in business administration from New York University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.

• Joshua La Bouef, a partner at the law firm of Brennan, Manna & Diamond. He received his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside.

Ex officio members

• City Council President Clay Yarborough, who earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida. He was elected to council in 2007. He represents the Arlington area.

• Council member Richard Clark, who is president of Supreme Janitorial, a family-owned business founded in 1973. He has been on the council since 2005, including serving as president for a year. He is Finance Committee chair this year.

• Larry Roziers, executive director of community and family engagement at Duval County Public Schools. He also has been a teacher and principal in the school district. Roziers has a master’s degree in education from the University of North Florida and bachelor’s degrees from Bethune-Cookman University.
