Artist Mike Barnhart (left) and Mayor Alvin Brown on Friday unveiled “Jax Beat Jumpin,’” the official commemorative poster for the Jacksonville Jazz Festival 2013. The event is presented by Brown. Barnhart also designed the poster for the 1996 festival. To date, this year’s confirmed performers are BWB featuring Rick Braun, Kirk Whalum and Norman Brown; Euge Groove; Gerald Albright; Gregory Porter; Poncho Sanchez; and the Yellowjackets.
