A stage was erected Wednesday at Bay and Newnan streets in preparation for the Jacksonville Jazz Festival presented by AARP. Live music is scheduled on three stages between Newnan Street and the Shipyards and at the Jacksonville Landing from 5-10 p.m. Friday, 1-10 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority will provide free shuttle bus service from parking lots at EverBank Field to the festival site from 3:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 1:30-9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
