Land sold for two WoodSpring Suites

Three WoodSpring Suites already operate in Jacksonville.

Property for two more WoodSpring Suites extended stay hotels are in the hands of developers. The brand is part of Choice Hotels International Inc. Three already operate in Jacksonville.

  • MNAR-Real Estate Holdings LLC of Miami sold property Nov. 26 to Gold Coast Premier Properties X LLC, also of Miami, for $2.8 million. MNAR is developing a Bentley Maserati Alfa Romeo dealership and sold land next to it for development of a four-story, 122-room WoodSpring Suites on 3.13 acres at 7137 Bonneval Road. 
  • James Wiley LLC sold property Nov. 18 for $1.7 million in Campfield Commons to Concord WP COL Campfield LLC, the developer listed for the WoodSpring Suites hotel at 11250 Lamb Tail Lane off Baymeadows Road, east of Interstate 295. 

The developer, part of Concord Hospitality Enterprises, proposes a four-story, 122-room WoodSpring Suites on 1.85 acres at a construction cost of $6.6 million. 

Concord Hospitality is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The city approved development plans Dec. 5 for the project and is reviewing a building permit application for the project at a job cost of $6.6 million.

WoodSpring Suites sold in Arlington

Quanah Properties LP of Southlake, Texas, sold the WoodSpring Suites at 8341 Dames Point Crossing Blvd. to Dallas-based Provident Realty Advisors for $5.1 million. The deed was executed Dec. 3.

Property records show the four-story, 121-room, almost 43,000-square-foot hotel was built on almost 1.71 acres in 2007.

Quanah, through I-295 at Merrill LLC, sold the property to Jacksonville WSS LLC, in care of Provident Realty Advisors. Quanah paid $1.15 million for the site in 2007.
