The Landing opened its No Child Should Be Homeless campaign Tuesday. The campaign encourages Landing customers to contribute $1 for a personalized message, which will be displayed by the Water Street entrance. The Landing has dedicated its Christmas tree as a tree of hope for children at the I.M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless to hang their hand-decorated stars. “The stars are a quiet reminder in this time of joy that children are the fastest growing segment of Jacksonville’s homeless population,” said Linda Lanier, executive director of the Sulzbacher Center. John Kiddy, general manager of the Landing, started the campaign five years ago.
