How did you become involved?

In most all of my community activities, I expressed interest in the subject or organization and was fortunate to be asked to become involved.

How can someone else become involved?

To me, the best way to get involved is to first, select the areas or subjects in which you have a real interest and then to let those people already involved know that you are interested in participating. In my experience, community organizations are always looking for energy and ideas from new people.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?

Things just don’t happen on their own. It often takes community groups working quietly and persistently behind the scenes to make things happen.

What was the last book you read or are reading?

“Bahamarama” by Bob Morris, a friend from high school. Great beach read.
