Family: Lovely wife of 22 years, Jill; son, John Robert, 16; and daughter Angelina, 13.

Pets: Squeaky, the guinea pig; 10 African cichlid tropical fish, all with names; and Sherman the Stork, who actually lives in the swamp behind our house, but we consider him family.

Education: Undergraduate degree, Florida State University, 1983; Bachelor of Science cum laude, University of Tulsa, 1985; Juris Doctor, Emory University School of Law, 1991

Field of practice: Probate and trust litigation and fiduciary risk management. Florida Supreme Court-certified Circuit mediator.

Community involvement: Anything relating to Downtown development, most recently the Downtown Perspectives program.  

How did you become involved?

When the law firm put its support behind Downtown development, I was eager to join in the fun. We believe that Jacksonville recently has discovered a new optimism about Downtown development and we are eager to share that with everyone.

Last book you read/are reading: 

"Mistakes Were Made (But Not by Me)" by Carol Tavris, but only between editions of Golf Digest.
