Lawyers hear about technological advances

Member of the Jacksonville Bar Association heard some advice Thursday on how to keep pace in the ever-changing world of technology during its monthly luncheon at the Omni. Toby Brown of Zions Bancorporation’s e-Business Solutions Group discussed several innovations, including a document generator and electronic billing. Brown, formerly a consultant to The Utah Bar, said while technological advances can make a lawyer’s life much easier, they still need to maintain personal contact, which generates more billable hours.
