Jacksonville Area Legal Aid hosted its Equal Justice Awards Reception last week at The River Club. The event honored the law firm of Pajcic & Pajcic with the Justice for All Award for its outstanding hours of pro bono service and financial support to Legal Aid.

“They’ve also provided countless hours of insight on how to further Legal Aid’s mission,” said Kim Ruotolo, the event’s organizer.

Other awards were presented to the Christian Legal Society for its large contribution of pro bono hours and Legal Aid staff members, who were recognized for their support.

Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Harry Lee Anstead, who was raised in Jacksonville, attended the event to thank the honorees. The event was sponsored by Spohrer Wilner Maxwell & Matthews law firm.
