Legal briefs: Rogers Towers adds Holbrook as shareholder

The Rogers Towers law firm added Jason Holbrook as a shareholder in its Jacksonville office.

Holbrook focuses his practice on the defense of civil litigation, including wrongful death and premises liability cases.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University and his J.D. from the University of Akron College of Law.

John Phillips

Phillips is co-chair of ‘Real Men Wear Pink’

John Phillips of the Law Offices of John M. Phillips is co-chair of the American Cancer Society’s 2018 “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign in Jacksonville.

He was the top fundraiser for last year’s campaign, setting a local individual record with $23,324 of the $86,000 total.

Also on the team are attorneys Joe Camerlengo of The Truck Accident Firm, Matthew Hunt of Phillips’ firm, Assistant State Attorney Christopher Jackson, Mark Moss of the Law Offices of Mark F. Moss and Daniel Thompson with Coker Law.

Wilford to Cordell & Cordell

Cordell & Cordell hired litigation specialist Christina Wilford to be the third attorney in its Jacksonville office at 50 N. Laura St.

She received her bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida and her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law.

Rosskopf registers firm

The Law Office of Eric Rosskopf registered “Century Law Firm” with the state Division of Corporations for Rosskopf’s practice on behalf of clients wishing to avoid bankruptcy related to credit card debt. The firm is at 301 W. Bay St., Suite 14170.

Build-out for Department of Administrative Hearings

 Dav-Lin Interior Contractors was issued a permit to build-out a 7,115-square-foot space for the state Department of Administrative Hearings. Demolition of existing walls and installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and framing at 1300 Riverplace Blvd, Suite 300, is listed at $360,000.
