Legal notes: Jimerson & Cobb adds three associates

Jimerson & Cobb recently added associate attorneys to its firm.

Austin Calhoun will be in the construction and bankruptcy law practice law groups. He joined Jimerson & Cobb as a law clerk in 2011. He graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law, where he was staff editor for the “Florida Coastal Law Review.”

Calhoun is a licensed general contractor and worked as a project manager for a large commercial construction company in Jacksonville for eight years before enrolling in law school. He graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in construction management.

Brandon Meadows, who will be part of the business litigation practice group, joined the firm in 2013 as a law clerk. He previously served as a judicial intern to the U.S. District Judge Roy B. Dalton Jr., of the Middle District of Florida and 8th Circuit Judge Mark Moseley.

While at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, he was executive editor of the “Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy.” He received his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of Kentucky.

Brittany Snell, who joined the firm in late 2014, will be in the condominium law practice group. She is a graduate of Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in the top 15 percent of her class and was a member of its nationally ranked Moot Court team.

She earned an undergraduate degree in political science from The Ohio State University.
