Luxury condos planned next to Marina San Pablo

The developers who built the award-winning 5 Thousand Town apartments at St. Johns Town Center are teaming up again to build a “cottage” collection of waterfront condominiums.

Bove LLC and Remi Properties will build Aphora at Marina San Pablo, a 57-unit luxury complex, the companies announced Wednesday.

Homes will be priced from $600,000 to $2 million and floor plans will range from 2,500-5,200 square feet.  The 12-story tower will on the Intracoastal Waterway at Butler Boulevard near the St. Johns Town Center, Interstate 295 and the beaches. The complex will become part of the Marina San Pablo development and joins a 56-unit condo tower already there.

Developers are targeting professionals, retirees and empty nesters opting to downsize to condo living, without giving up a luxury lifestyle, said Gabe Bove, president of Bove.

“We feel there are a great number of residents who have been waiting for the real estate market to return so they can sell their homes,” he said. “We wanted to create a lifestyle that gives the convenience of a single-family home and does something more — keeps people connected to their shopping districts, clubs and churches.”

Aphora is in an area where there are few opportunities left for large projects, he said.

What 5 Thousand Town did among apartments, the Aphora at Marina San Pablo plans to do for condominiums, raising the bar among its peers with surprising amenities.

The most striking will be a rooftop “oasis,” a lifestyle center featuring a pool, gathering spaces, fireplaces, outdoor kitchen, wine tasting room and private wine lockers, bar and landscaped gardens, all with 360-degree views of the Intracoastal, beach and Downtown skyline.

Amenities also will include private two-car garages for each home, a two-bedroom two-bath guest suite, day spa, pet spa, auto spa and a private marina with slips available for purchase.

Bove LLC and Remi Properties first partnered in 2004 to build the Fountain Villas apartment community in Rockledge, where Remi is based.

Sales for Aphora at Marina San Pablo are being handled by Marsh Landing Country Club Realty. The sales office is inside the Marina San Pablo Yacht Club at 14388 Marina San Pablo Place.
