The conversion from First Union to Wachovia is visible at the top of the First Union building next to the Omni. Scaffolding is in place and the old First Union signage has been removed. Wachovia signs are being installed and should be in place by Nov. 10. New Wachovia signs at Alltel Stadium will be revealed at the same time during the Jacksonville Jaguars-Washington Redskins game, which is sponsored by First Union. According to Winston Wilkerson, North Florida area president of First Union, the signs for the other East Coast offices will be replaced, beginning Nov. 18, and conclude next summer.
