Mayor Alvin Brown and City Council President Bill Bishop scheduled a 1:30 p.m. news conference today to “celebrate a financial company’s move and commitment to Downtown.”
Bishop said this morning the company is a MassMutual Financial Group member. The company recently opened Downtown.
As reported July 13 in the Daily Record, the City issued a building permit for the MassMutual tenant build-out at 200 W. Forsyth St., No. 600, at a project cost of $275,000. The contractor was Dav-Lin Interior Contractors. A Certificate of Occupancy was issued Aug. 27.
Financial Design Associates, a member of the MassMutual Financial Group, lists the address on its website, fn-design.com, as its Jacksonville office location.
“The win here is it’s another business moving Downtown,” Bishop said.
