The city approved a permit for Mayo Clinic’s $50 million addition to its Mayo South Building at 4500 San Pablo Road S.
Robins & Morton LLC of Orlando will construct the four-story, 80,000-square-foot addition above the existing single-story building.
The project includes the renovation of the first floor.
Completion is expected in 2019.
The space will be used for cardiovascular, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery program areas, spine center and pain rehabilitation programs, surgical rooms, labs and more.
