Bank of America landed two more permits Aug. 16, a day after two were issued Aug. 15, for its Jacksonville Operations Center renovations.
Those four permits over two days total almost $17 million in job costs. Marand Builders Inc. is the contractor.
The North Carolina-based financial services organization plans an estimated $150 million update to the 9000 Southside Blvd. campus.
It said in October it will renovate and update the 800,000 square feet of space it leases among five buildings.
Auld & White Constructors LLC also will handle renovations.
On Aug. 16, the city issued two permits for $8.31 million in renovations of almost 46,500 square feet on two more floors of Building 300.
At more than $4.15 million each, they cover 23,300 square feet on the third floor and 23,177 square feet on the fifth floor.
On Aug. 15, two permits were issued for $8.64 million in job costs for 48,311 square feet of space among two buildings.
One covered 22,400 square feet on the fourth floor of Building 300 at almost $4.2 million
Another was 25,911 square feet on the fourth floor in Building 200 at $4.44 million.
Those follow the first six permits for about 170,000 square feet among four buildings. The city issued those Oct. 18-28, 2021, at $18.1 million.
Bank of America Jacksonville President Mark Bennett said Oct. 18, 2021, the three-year renovation project “demonstrates our ongoing commitment to being part of the Jacksonville community and our continuous efforts to make Bank of America a great place to work for our employees.”
The center houses part of the bank’s customer contact operations call center and technology-operations support.
The company confirmed it will add a parking garage, but that is not part of the $150 million project
