The law firm of Coffman, Coleman, Andrews & Grogan hosted a groundbreaking Thursday for its new facility at 800 W. Monroe St. in LaVilla. Partners, attorneys and legal support staff braved the threat of rain and swarming gnats for the ceremony. “We had outgrown the building,” said Debora Cates, legal administrator for the firm. “We’ve been adding a lawyer a year. We’ve grown so much we need more room.” The firm plans to move into the new building by April. “It will have a classic, clean look that recognizes the prairie feel of Jacksonville,” said Tom Fisher, principal at Rink Reynolds Diamond Fisher Wilson, P.A., the company that designed the building.
