The next phase of the NEFBA legacy includes a new location and a new office building. Necessitated by growth, increased outreach and convenient access of members and visitors, this giant step forward needs your support.

The move to Southpoint makes NEFBA easily accessible from Interstate 95 and Butler Boulevard. In addition to the NEFBA administrative offices, the 10,000-square-foot building situated on a nearly 4-acre plot will house NEFBA’s Builders Care and Apprenticeship Program, both of which provide far-reaching community connections.

In addition to office space for NEFBA, Builders Care and the Apprenticeship Program staff, the layout will provide collaborative areas, a large auditorium and rentable event space, which will attract a variety of professional workshops, seminars and promotions. Like the association itself, this facility is expected to be a resource for the industry, the community, NEFBA members and the public in all things related to our industry. Ample parking is another advantage of the new space.

“NEFBA is the largest homebuilders association in Florida, and the fifth largest in the nation,” said NEFBA President Lee Arsenault. “With our state and national affiliations — the Florida Association of Builders and the National Association of Home Builders, NEFBA exerts influence in Northeast Florida and far beyond. We rely on those associations to keep on top of state and federal regulations and trends in service to its members, consumers and lawmakers.”

NEFBA’s calendar is busy and varied. Committee meetings, social and networking opportunities, training and education, and charity events fill the calendar for members and the public. The new facility will accommodate the variety of events and the crowds.

“We are excited about the move,” said Glenn Layton, Building Committee chair. “It’s a sign of our growth and confidence in the association. Our goal is to make the association more accessible and a source of pride for members.”

NEFBA’s All-In campaign is designed to allow members to contribute to the building fun both with a monetary donation and with materials/labor donations.

“We want to make it possible for all our members to be part of our efforts to take NEFBA’s legacy into the future,” Arsenault said. “This two-phase fundraising program will allow that as we start the site work and begin construction of the new building.”

“Your contribution will be visible and long lasting. You can express your commitment to the association, the community and the industry.”
