Hall Booth Smith added four attorneys to its Jacksonville office. 

Shylie Bannon is a partner who focuses her practice on representing physicians and health care providers in medical negligence claims and administrative proceedings before the Florida Department of Health.

She also represents clients in litigation arising from allegations of sex, disability, race, and pregnancy discrimination, whistleblower actions and alleged violations of the National Labor Relations Act and Fair Labor Standards Act

Bannon received a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Richard Lasseter

Richard Lasseter is a partner who focuses his practice on personal injury and negligence, defending contractors and subcontractors in construction defect disputes and defending insurance agents in error and omission claims.  

Lasseter received his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law where he was a Merit Scholarship recipient and Dean’s Scholar recipient.

Bryce McColskey

Associate attorney Bryce McColskey focuses his practice on medical malpractice, professional liability and general liability matters. McColskey received his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Whitley Williams-Jelks

Whitley Williams-Jelks is an associate attorney and focuses her practice on premise liability and transportation claims.

Williams-Jelks received a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. She also holds an M.S. in employment law from Nova Southeastern.
