Mission
The mission of the Greenwood School is to provide a challenging and supportive education for average to above-average middle through high school students who have learning differences and/or ADHD.
Serving Jacksonville
Since 1985; Jacksonville-based.
Those served
Duval, Nassau, St. Johns and Clay counties. We can serve 200 students per year in our current facility along Regency Square Boulevard. Since 1985, we have served more than 1,500 students and their families.
Biggest challenge
To increase community awareness regarding the excellent programs we provide to students who learn differently.
Biggest satisfaction
Greenwood faculty teaches to each student’s learning styles through a variety of multisensory activities. We use each student’s strengths to build academic confidence and achievement. The ultimate reward for students, parents and staff is the student’s attainment of a healthy self-concept that leads to academic and career success.
