Since 1964. We are the oldest community foundation in Florida.
Those served
We serve the citizens of Jacksonville and surrounding Northeast Florida. The Community Foundation in Jacksonville is home to more than 360 individual funds, holds more than $141 million in assets and has made more than $166 million in grants. Through our work and the generosity of our donors, we make a difference in the lives of people across Northeast Florida every day. We benefit nonprofit organizations through the charitable gifts and grants made through the foundation. We benefit our community leaders by sharing our knowledge, resources, research and ideas. And we benefit our donors by helping them develop a broader understanding of philanthropic opportunities and ways to give to what is most important to them.

Helping people who care about their community understand that they can have a real impact through modest, but thoughtful philanthropy.

Seeing the changes that are made possible through philanthropy — that combination of donor support, community knowledge, subject expertise and strategic investment. When those things come together, amazing things can and do happen.

Upcoming events
We don’t do a lot of special events. But the fourth quarter is an important time for us as individuals to begin to think about yearend giving. We offer services to help simplify end-of-year giving decisions without any loss of tax benefits and providing more time for donors to enjoy their giving.
