At the request of the Visit Jacksonville board of directors, Daniel O’Byrne, resigned today as president and CEO. He joined the organization, which is the convention and visitors bureau for Jacksonville and the Beaches, in November 2010. The board has formed a search committee to determine who will replace O’Byrne.
