• The Chamber of Commerce has elected its 2005 board of directors. They are Robert W. Helms, chair; Edward E. Burr, chair-elect; Barry L. Allred, immediate past chair; John R. Schmitt, treasurer; Christine R. Milton, general counsel; and Walter M. Lee III, president. Division chairs are Thomas Van Berkel, Cornerstone/Economic Development; Leith A. Oatman, Events & Member Benefits; Robert White, Membership; Kevin Delaney, Beaches; Susan Hartley, Small Business, Bruce Barcelo, Education & Workforce.

Department chairs are Ronald A. Autrey, Business Recruitment; John J. Maher, Existing Business; George D. Gabel, International; Melanie White, Area Councils; and Jim McCollum, Government Affairs.

At-large members are John Clark, John Delaney, Jim Dickenson, Jim Gallagher, Hugh Greene, Charles S. Mussallem III, Ronald Townsend, Dr. Steven Wallace and Marilyn Wilkerson-Williams.

Ex-officio members are City Council president Elaine Brown and Duval County School Board chair Nancy Bronner.

• Nagaraj Hosebettu has joined PBS&J’s Jacksonville office as a senior intelligent transportation systems specialist.

• Upcoming shows in the FCCJ Broadway in Jacksonville Artist Series include “Aida,” Jan. 14 at the T-U Center; Broadway on Ice Jan. 17-19 at the T-U Center; and “If You Ever Leave Me, I’m Going With You!”Jan. 25-30 at the Wilson Center for the Arts. For ticket information, call 632-3373.

• Jacksonville-based Warehouse Condos USA will expand its product lines to include other types of commercial real estate products and will change their name to Business Condos USA. The new lines will include almost all types of commercial properties along with the warehouse condos, which has been the stock in trade of Warehouse Condos USA for the past two years. Look for some announcements in the near future about retail and medical condominium projects around Jacksonville.

• Mayor John Peyton has named Michael Payne director of the Office of Faith and Community Based Partnerships. Payne will oversee the newly created office, which will develop partnerships between City government and faith and community organizations and individuals.

• The American Institute of Graphic Arts is hosting The Holiday Affair Dec. 1 from 6-10 p.m. at River City Brewing Co. The party is a charity event to support the Donna Hicken Foundation and the Cultural Council Arts Enrichment Grant Program.

• The Dave Matthews Tribute Band joins the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra Saturday as part of the Plugged In Series. Advance ticket prices are $15 general admission and $25 VIP best seats/general admission. Day of show ticket prices are $20 general admission and $30 VIP.
