Prudential Drive from San Marco Boulevard to Riverplace Boulevard will be detoured from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday and Tuesday for asphalt paving, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Monday, motorists traveling east on Prudential Drive will be detoured to northbound San Marco Boulevard to eastbound Museum Circle to southbound Riverplace Boulevard.
Motorists traveling west on Prudential Drive Tuesday will be detoured to northbound Riverplace Boulevard, to westbound Museum Circle to southbound San Marco Boulevard.
One direction of traffic will remain open on Prudential Drive. Message boards and detour signs will be in place along the route.
The Florida Department of Transportation awarded the $3.8 million pavement rehabilitation contract to Preferred Materials Inc. The project includes the resurfacing of Prudential Drive and Kings Avenue, and is expected to be complete before June, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
