Mimi’s Cafe responded to questions about plans filed by Ida Claire, South of Ordinary, a Texas-based concept that proposes to convert the St. Johns Town Center restaurant.

“As a privately held company, we don’t discuss lease agreements. We know that another company has shown interest in the space, but no decision has been made in regard to our future plans,” said the statement by Mimi’s Cafe, which is based in Dallas. Ida Claire, whose first location is in Dallas, is part of Front Burner Dining Group LLC.
