RF-Smart is expanding at San Marco East Plaza, leasing an additional 11,985 square feet of space, commercial real estate firm NAI Hallmark announced Sept. 19.
Jacksonville-based RF-Smart is a global software company. It provides barcoding, radio-frequency identification and warehouse intelligence to distributors, manufacturers and retailers worldwide.
In 2019, the company built-out 40,552 square feet of space it leases at 3563 Philips Highway, No. 601. With the expansion, it would lease a total of 52,537 square feet of space.
San Marco East Plaza is at Emerson and Philips Highway south of San Marco.
NAI Hallmark Managing Partner Christian Harden and Vice President Patrick Carney represented the landlord, Prescott Group, in the transaction.
“The expansion of RF-SMART increasing their footprint by 28% after just two and a half years is a testament to the excellence of work that they do for their customers,” Carney said in a news release.
San Marco East Plaza is the rebranded Metro Square office park. It comprises seven buildings and 369,000 square feet of office space, NAI Hallmark said.
“It is also reflective of the transformation of San Marco East Plaza comprised of innovative, open spaces that bring new meaning to work-life balance attracting and retaining quality tenants and workforce,” Carney said.
