Over 300 turned out Tuesday at the Adam’s Mark Hotel to hear Duval County School superintendent John Fryer give a report on the schools at the Chamber’s quarterly Cornerstone luncheon.

Fryer challenged Chamber members to get involved with the system by helping develop community benchmarks, contributing to the Alliance for World Class Education support group, serving as mentors and developing incentive programs to assist in retaining teachers.

Fryer used a lengthy slide presentation to show the progress the system has made in the four years of his tenure as the superintendent.
