Warby Parker, First Watch reopening

The retailer and restaurants are among the latest national and regional brands to announce they are back in business.

Warby Parker and First Watch restaurants said May 29 they are reopening.

Warby Parker, the fashion prescription eyeglass and sunglass retailer, will reopen May 30 St. Johns Town Center on May 30 with modified operations. Hours will be 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

It said it will use social distancing, contactless shopping features, enhanced sanitization, team and patient health screenings, and more safety practices.

First Watch will reopen its Jacksonville restaurants June 1 for dine-in service, following regional safety guidelines. 

It also will offer takeout, which can be ordered through FirstWatch.com or by calling the restaurant, and delivery, through UberEats and DoorDash.

First Watch operates 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. serving breakfast, brunch and lunch. Customers can join a waiting list for a table by visiting FirstWatch.com/locations.

Employees’ temperatures will be screened before each shift. 

Staff members must wash their hands before starting shifts and every 30 minutes. They must wear personal protective equipment, including face coverings and gloves.

First Watch will offer single-use menus where available or otherwise disinfect all menus between uses. High-touch surfaces will be disinfected every hour.

The restaurant will provide single-use condiments when possible and disinfect reusable containers between uses.
