The 2010 Women in Business Awards presented by Women Business Owners of North Florida were announced Wednesday at a luncheon at the Omni. This year’s honorees: Entrepreneur of the Year, Teresa Meares, CEO of DGG Taser & Tactical Supply; Franchisee of the Year, Lauren Little, owner of two Edible Arrangements franchises; Pioneer of the Year, Jean Jones, owner of E.A. Tax & Consulting; and Corporate Leader of the Year, Anna Brosche, partner and COO of Ennis, Pellum & Associates CPAs. Each year the event celebrates the achievements of women who make a contribution to the business community while promoting leadership and success.
