The city approved a foundation permit for the proposed Jacksonville Bentley Maserati Alfa Romeo dealership at 7137 Bonneval Road, off Interstate 95.

AutoBuilders General Contracting Services Inc. of West Palm Beach is the contractor for the foundation and the proposed almost $11 million showroom and service facilities.

Miami-based Brickell Motors and Miami Automotive Retail bought the property in February through MNAR-Real Estate Holdings LLC. MNAR paid $3.36 million for about 9 acres.

At the St. Johns River Water Management District, MNAR applied as the property owner for transfer of an environmental resource permit.

Plans show a proposed 48,600-square-foot dealership and car wash.

Nearby, the city is reviewing a permit application for a four-story WoodSpring Suites hotel on 3.13 acres, also at 7137 Bonneval Road.

No contractor is listed for the $6.5 million project, shown as 49,250 square feet. Gold Coast Premier Properties is the developer.

Previous documents showed it would build a 122-room hotel near the proposed Bentley dealership.

WoodSpring Suites is an extended-stay brand of Choice Hotels International Inc. Three operate in Jacksonville.
