Parade winners announced

The Northeast Florida Builders Association 2006 Parade of Homes was the largest in the history of the association with 110 homes representing 37 builders and more than $62 million in real estate.

Winners in 22 price categories were announced at the annual Parade of Homes banquet. Two builders, D.R. Horton and Providence Homes, took home four awards, and Mattamy Homes captured three. Arthur Rutenberg Homes by Marcus Allen, Brylen Homes, Cordele Builders, Levitt and Sons, Panitz Signature Homes, Mercedes Homes, SEDA Construction Company and Standard Pacific Homes won two awards each. Another 15 builders stepped into the winners’ circle to claim awards for their entries.

The Gulfport II at Ponte Vedra East by Arthur Rutenberg Homes by Marcus Allen won the gold in its price category and was also named the Best Concrete Block Home in the 2006 Parade.

First- (gold) and second- (silver) place awards were available in each category.
