Nearly 30 members of the Northeast Florida Builders Care Clay Builders Council and Builders Care worked together recently to make improvements to the home of Walter Heath in Green Cove Springs.

Heath, who is disabled, was living in a home in serious disrepair. Clay Builders Council members came together and made several improvements to the home: a new roof, new flooring, new front steps with railing, a new bathroom sink and vanity, landscaping and a new coat of paint on the outside of the home.

“We just want everyone to know how much we appreciate their help,” said 2006 Clay Council Chair Angie Claxton. “We had a good turnout for this special project. The members were very gracious with their time, skill, and resources.”
