A spicy time at YLS chili competition
Ninth Annual Young Lawyers Section Chili Cook-Off was another resounding success.
By Adam Edgecombe In what is fast becoming the premiere event for the local legal community, 49 teams squared off to determine which had the best chili in a variety of categories in the Ninth Annual Young Lawyers Section Chili Cook-Off.
Regardless of whether they won or not, all the teams enjoyed beautiful weather and the ambiance provided by the band Fratello, Riverside Arts Market and the St. Johns River. The cook-off raised more than $10,000 to benefit Rethreaded. The YLS is grateful to Manifest Distillery, all of its law firm sponsors, the judges who donated their time, Black Sheep Restaurant for hosting the afterparty on its rooftop bar and to PRI Productions for donating the use of 100 tables for the event.
