Jose Luis Villarreal was introduced Wednesday as the inaugural head coach of the Jacksonville Armada FC. He is pictured with team General Manager Dario Sala. A native of Argentina, Villarreal played and coached in Europe and South America for nearly 30 years. Sala said Villarreal was selected for his “aggressive, attack-style approach.” Team owner Mark Frisch said Villarreal will “offer fans an experience that only the Jacksonville Armada FC can bring to the field.” The Armada is the newest member of the 13-team North American Soccer League and will begin play in 2015.
