Field of practice: Civil litigation (trucking litigation, class-action defense, product liability litigation and medical malpractice defense)

Professional organizations: The Jacksonville Bar Association, Christian Legal Society, Florida Bar, ABOTA, Chester Bedell Inns of Court, Downtown Rotary.

How did you get involved?

I have never seen a ministry change kids' lives like Young Life. I was involved in high school to some extent but got pulled in by a friend when I returned to Jacksonville and have been involved ever since.

How can someone else get involved?

Contact Dave Bast (metro director of Young Life) at (904) 387-9633 or through jaxyounglife.org

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?

Watching how God can reach even the hardest kids (regardless of background, type, sex or socio-economic status) and transform their hearts through adults (Young Life leaders) investing their time into those kids and earning the right to share the gospel with them in a loving, non-threatening way. The Young Life camps are the most amazing camps I have ever seen.

What was the last book you read or are reading?

"College (un)Bound" by Jeffrey J. Selingo, and the Book of Proverbs (read one chapter every day).
