Rick Mullaney filed to enter the 2011 mayor’s race last week, but formally kicked off his campaign Wednesday with his family and supporters at an announcement along the Northbank. Mullaney talked about pension reform, economic development and the importance “defining industries” for Jacksonville, such as the health care field. He plans to resign as General Counsel in June.
