Restaurant Notes: Burger King to open Northwest Jacksonville store; McDonald's at Town Center renovating

Panera in Shoppes of Bartram to build free-standing restaurant.

Burger King plans to open a 48-seat restaurant at 6014 New Kings Road in Northwest Jacksonville.

No contractor is listed for the $450,000 project to build a 2,884-square-foot Burger King on the site.

CKE Group Inc. of Miami Lakes is listed as the design professional.

McDonald’s in Town Center

 McDonald’s USA LLC is remodeling its St. Johns Town Center restaurant at 4587 Town Center Parkway.

Southland Construction Inc. is the contractor for the $325,000 project to renovate the 3,502-square-foot building.

Panera in Shoppes of Bartram

Plans are in review for Panera Bread to build a 4,777-square-foot free-standing restaurant on 1.67 acres at 13750 Old St. Augustine Road in the Shoppes at Bartram Park.

Panera now leases an inline space. Frontier Building is the contractor for the $750,000 project, shows the permit application.

Regency Centers said previously that Panera Bread has been at the center since 2005.
