Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Inc., also known as Florida Blue, is hiring more full-time seasonal employees in Jacksonville.
The health insurance company announced Thursday it is seeking 200 people to fill “member care specialist” roles.
According to the online job summary, new hires would service potential, new and existing customers including members, group members, business decision-makers and agents.
Applicants can apply through Aug. 28.
Spokeswoman Toni Woods said the positions come with three months of paid leave, likely between May and August.
A job fair date will be announced later.
It’s the second round of hiring in Jacksonville in as many months for the company, which is preparing for the health insurance open-enrollment season, beginning in the fall.
In July Florida Blue said it was filling 600 temporary contract positions for telephone health-plan sales and support.
