A developer seeking to build the San Marco Apartments near the Downtown Southbank submitted plans to the city and a permit application to the St. Johns River Water Management District.
Catalyst Development Partners of Atlanta proposes the San Marco Apartments at 1444 Home St.
The plans show 147 apartments and a three-story, 221-space parking garage on 1.9 acres between Louisa Street and Home Street near Interstate 95.
The parcel is between Hendricks and Kipp avenues.
Plans show a four-story structure facing Home Street, with additional frontage on Kipp Avenue. Garage access is shown off Louisa Street.
Proposed amenities include two private outdoor courtyards and a pool, summer kitchen and fire pit. Plans also show a fitness center and clubhouse.
The owner and developer is Catalyst Development Partners. The applicant is Robert Bass of San Marco Professional Building LLC.
The registered agent is Doug Skiles of EnVision Design + Engineering LLC of Jacksonville, which also is the civil engineer of the proposed development.
