Crowley Maritime Inc. headquarters building sold again

Property sells for $22.77 million – $2.67 million more than it went for less than 100 days ago.

Broadstone Real Estate, through Broadstone CM Florida LLC, bought the Crowley Maritime Corp. headquarters building Dec. 8 for $22.77 million, the second time the Regency-area property was sold in less than three months.

Rochester, New York-based Broadstone bought it from CH Jacksonville FL Landlord LLC, in care of SunTrust Equity Funding LLC, which paid $20.1 million for it Sept. 27.

The property sold for $2.67 million more in less than 100 days.

Crowley Regency Inc. sold the building at 9487 Regency Square Blvd. to CH Jacksonville and continues to lease it.

The five-story, 112,060-square-foot building was developed on 5.4 acres in 1984, Duval County property records show.

Crowley bought it in 1993 from Aetna Life Insurance Co. for $6 million. The property is assessed at almost $5.5 million for tax purposes, according to property records.
