JTA moving on intercity hub

JTA’s Regional Transportation Center is under construction.

The transportation authority broke ground Tuesday on the second phase of the $57.3 million project in LaVilla. When completed in November 2019, the hub will include a terminal for fixed routes and the First Coast Flyer bus rapid transit system. It also will serve as JTA’s administrative offices. Construction for the first phase — the Intercity Bus Terminal for Greyhound — is underway and should be completed by January.
